John Bennett, J.D., LL.M., is the CEO and founder of Aegis Technology Companies, Inc. After his retirement from the U.S. Navy, he became, and remains, CEO of Maritime Protective Services, Inc. (MPS), a maritime security consulting and training firm established in the wake of 9/11. In 2005, he formed Asset Tracking Logistics And Security LLC (ATLAS) to develop technologies for tracking, surveillance, and monitoring systems for cargo and other assets. Both MPS and ATLAS are now subsidiaries of Aegis.
Dr. Bennett received his bachelor’s degree in Economics from Swarthmore College, his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center, and his LL.M. in Law and Marine Affairs from the University of Washington. He holds certifications as Vessel, Company, and Port Facility Security Officer. In the Navy, his service included assignments to staffs of the Commander in Chief, U.S. Atlantic Fleet, NATO’s Supreme Allied Commander Atlantic, and the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

Keith Berkowitz, M.B.A., M.D., is the executive vice
president and co-founder of R&B Foods and
has a diverse background combining business,
medical and nutritional expertise. Dr. Berkowitz
received his Doctor of Medicine from New York
Medical College and his Master’s in Business
Administration from Columbia Business School,
where he was a member of Beta Gamma Sigma Honor
Society. He did a combined internship and residency
in Internal Medicine at North Shore University
Hospital and Memorial-Sloan Kettering Cancer
Center. After residency, Dr. Berkowitz spent
five years as a faculty member in the department
of medicine at North Shore University Hospital
and also was a clinical instructor at New York
University School of Medicine. He then joined
the Atkins Center for Complementary Medicine
and worked with Dr. Robert Atkins as business
and medical director. In 2003, he founded the
Center for Balanced Health, a medical practice
specializing in the prevention and treatment
of obesity, diabetes, heart disease and other
metabolic conditions. He co-founded R&B Foods
with Dr. Peter Radatti in 2004 to create healthy
food products that would be very beneficial to
his patients, many of whom have diabetes, unstable
blood sugar or heart disease.
Dr. Berkowitz is
the co-author of The Princeton Review Medical
School Companion (Random House 1996). He
has been interviewed by Newsweek, New
York Magazine,
Newsday, The Sunday London Times, Associated
Press,
CNN, INC Magazine, am NY, Wins
1010 online and The New York Post. Additionally, he has been featured
on ABC News, WOR Radio and WCBS radio.

Peter Radatti, Ph.D., is the CEO and co-founder
of R&B Foods. With a professional background
in chemistry, electronics and astrophysics, Dr.
Radatti spent 13 years at General Electric Space,
in their Military Programs Department (M&DSO)
where he designed and worked on very early fiber-optic
computer networks. In 1998, he started his own
computer security company, CyberSoft, which
sells security products primarily to the U.S.
Defense Department.
Dr. Radatti designed and
wrote the first UNIX antivirus product and
has 21 patents pending or issued in the
computer industry. He also co-founded R&B Foods
with Dr. Keith Berkowitz in 2004 with a primary focus
on creating premium food products that are natural,
healthy and delicious. He has three patents pending
in the food industry. Dr. Radatti has been appointed
a distinguished visiting research professor at Florida
Tech working with University College. |

Bassem Younes, Ph.D., received his bachelor’s degree
in civil engineering from Bradley University in 1984,
his master’s degree in civil engineering in 1985,
and his Ph.D. in engineering transport from London’s
Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine
in 1990. In 1993, Dr. Younes established Emirates Transportation
and Traffic (ET&T), the first specialized consultancy
in traffic and transportation engineering in the United
Arab Emirates, where he carried out numerous complex
transportation engineering assignments ranging from traffic
surveys for the Dubai Light Rail Project to major traffic
impact assessments. In 1999, Dr. Younes joined the University
of Sharjah, College of Engineering faculty as associate
professor of traffic and transportation engineering.
Dr. Younes is currently a distinguished professor of
transportation at Florida Institute of Technology and
is president of ET&T. |
