Register today for Spring Semester 2009

The Spring 2009 semester begins January 5, 2009 and will continue through April 17 with final exams held April 17. Registration is available online at beginning Monday, November 10 and will continue through Janaury 9.

In order to register online for classes students must have a Florida Tech e-mail address. Registration is done online through the PAWS system. Please log in to http://www.fit.edu/paws/ to register. If you need additional information please call the Patuxent office at (301) 862-1004.

Announcing: Fall 2008 and Spring 2009 Graduation Ceremony

For students who have graduated or who will be graduating in either the Fall 2008 or Spring 2009 semesters, graduation ceremonies will be held Saturday, May 30, 2009 at the J.T. Daugherty Conference Center in Lexington Park, MD. All students are encouraged to participate. Additional details will follow.

Spring 2009 Comprehensive Exams

Comprehensive exams will be held Thursday, March 26 and Friday, March 27 at the Florida Tech Student Resource Center and Computer Lab located at:

Florida Tech at Patuxent Computer Lab and Student Resource Center is open

The Computer Lab is available for instructors and students, along with a conference room and a textbook library.

Our administrative offices are also located at the Computer Lab, as well as in Building 2189 on the Patuxent River NAS. The facilities for the Computer Lab and Student Resource Center are located at the NE corner of Route 235 and Gate 1, adjacent to the Naval Aviation Museum. Billing Statements

Florida Tech's main campus will send a billing statement each month with outlining your current account balance. Florida Tech has consolidated the billing for all off-campus sites to a central billing office in Florida. This allows you, the student, to be actively aware if there are problems with your account on a monthly basis instead of waiting until the end of the term to find out that your balance hasn't been paid.

This information, along with your PAWS pin, will allow you to go into PAWS and see activity on your account and correct any errors. You will be able to contact Student Accounting directly at 1-800-676-9250 and discuss any issues with them. You may still contact our offices in Patuxent with any questions.
